2018 Winter High School Training
Power Hitting Camp
This 4 day camp is intended for serious high school players looking to improve their bat speed and power in preparation for the upcoming high school season. Players will utilize HitTrax technology to understand how maximum exit velocity and ideal launch angle will result in a more powerful swing. There will be two four week sessions leading up to high school tryouts.
Includes HitTrax video analysis for all players

Strength and Hitting Program
This program is intended for serious high school players looking to elevate their game during the off season. The program will meet twice a week for a month and will focus on improving a players hitting mechanics along with their overall strength. Each day the program will be divided between different baseball specific strength and agility exercises along with hitting drills including the use of HitTrax for swing and video analysis.

Velocity Improvement Program
This program is intended for serious high school pitchers looking to improve their arm strength and overall pitching mechanics. Players will meet three times a week for a month where each player will learn methods to maximize movement efficiency and velocity potential. Each week will be divided into movement, throwing, and strength days.
Date: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
Session 2: February 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, March 3, 5, 7, 10
Time: Monday and Wednesday – 4:30-5:30pm, Saturday 3-4pm

Youth Pitching Camp
This progressive camp will cover the fundamentals of pitching and is intended for players to learn proper mechanics while receiving the reps necessary to build confidence. Each day practice will start with a throwing routine and transition to drills focusing on specific mechanics. There will be two sessions during the winter/spring with each session consisting of four days.

Session 2: March 17, 24, April 7, 14

Youth Development Camp
This progressive camp will cover the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and throwing and is intended for young players to receive quality instruction and the reps necessary to gain confidence in their game during the off season. Each day players will be divided into small groups and will practice hitting followed by fielding drills. There will be two sessions during the winter/spring with each session consisting of four days.

Winter Indoor Hitting League
This indoor hitting league will feature the HitTrax gaming module which will allow players to compete against other teams in a fun and competitive environment. Each team will be given a four week schedule of doubleheaders on Sundays in which they will receive tons of quality at bats playing in simulated games. Former Washington Nationals and current Charlotte Knights (White Sox AAA) pitching coach Steve McCatty will be available for lessons until Spring Training!
Born in 1954, in Hollywood, California, Jason was a standout player at Cal-State Northridge. He was selected in the fourth round by the Detroit Tigers and began his Major League baseball career on April 23, 1976. Jason along with fellow rookie Mark “The Bird” Fidrych made an instant impact. Jason was selected to the All-Star team three times; first with Detroit in 1977 and again in 1978. It was during this time with the Detroit Tigers that Jason earned his nickname, "Roof Top" due to his ability to hit balls over the towering right field roof of Tiger Stadium.

Fall Baseball League
Summer’s over but not ready to stop playing baseball? Join the JTB Fall Baseball League! This is a great way to extend the baseball season into the fall months. This highly competitive league is based out of Auburn Hills and the teams will compete in four weekends of doubleheaders. There will be four age divisions for the 2017 season: 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16. Each team will be supplied with weekly practice times at JTB which will include use of HitTrax for fun and competitive hitting games! Registration can be individual or full team.
* Dates: 8 games beginning August 19/20 ending September 16/17 weekend
* Game Times: 9am, 11:15am, 1:30pm, 3:45pm
* Location: Auburn Hills area
* Age Divisions: 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16
* 11-12 division will play on Saturdays, all other divisions will play on Sundays
* Every team will receive weekly batting practice and an indoor HitTrax Hitting League at JTB.
The 2017 Summer Camp will be held in July at Chrysler Field located at the Chrysler Fiat Headquarters in Auburn Hills. This all around skills camp will include development on all aspects of the game including live on field games as well as HitTrax for fun and competitive hitting games. Through the four days of instruction, players will have the opportunity to work with very knowledgeable instructors who will speed up a player’s development and get them ready to move on to the next level.
The JTB Tigers are a competitive youth travel team organization that emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and the love of the game. Each player will be exposed to top-notch competition during the season as well as an extensive off-season training program that includes individual and team skill training sessions and conditioning program.

All programs are designed to be advanced or scaled back to fit the age and ability of each individual athlete. Programs are instructed on an individual, small group, and full team basis. Is a former major league first baseman and a three time all star over his ten-year career. He quickly became known for his slick fielding and power hitting, earning the nickname “Roof Top” in 1977 when he hit two towering homeruns over the right field roof of old Tiger Stadium.
Is a former major league pitcher. During his rookie year of 1974 with the California Angels he learned the tricks of the trade from his locker mate Nolan Ryan.
Is a former major league pitcher and Washington Nationals MLB pitching coach. He is the currently the pitching coach of the Chicago White Sox Triple A affiliate Charlotte Knights . In 1981 with the Oakland A’s he finished second in the American League Cy Young Award voting.
Is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and has earned advanced certifications including performance enhancement and corrective exercise, and fitness nutrition. After his college playing career, Matt began instructing players in all aspects of the game and is currently the Director of Operations at JTB. He also has several years of international coaching experience instructing aspiring players throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
After a stellar college career at Oakland University, he spent five seasons pitching in the Washington Nationals organization. He is currently the manager of the Westside Woolly Mammoths in the United Shore Professional Baseball League. Shane is the son of the former Washington Nationals MLB pitching coach Steve McCatty.
